Menopause Surgery and Menopause Natural Remedy

Surgery can serve neither as a cure nor as a treatment for menopause. However, certain conditions which may require surgery to treat may become more likely to occure during or after menopause. Surgery is not a menopause natural remedy.

Surgery Options

The following procedures are not part of a menopause natural remedy, but are options which you might need to take in order to look at and treat problems which may appear during menopause:

  • Endometrial ablation.
  • Hysterectomy.
  • Endometrial biopsy.
  • Hysteroscopy.
  • Dilation and curettage.

Things to consider about menopause surgeries

Many of the problems which occur in perimenopause, such as abnormal bleeding, will stop on their own once the menopause process is completed. Endometriosis or uterine fibroids may also dissipate once menopause is finished, but should be watched.

Some women decide that they would rather go through surgery than carry the burden associated with many symptoms of menopause. It is also possible they might be able to find a menopause natural remedy to deal with these symptoms.

When dealing with cancers in the reproductive system, surgey may be the only or the best option.

Indications for surgery during menopause

Start to consider a menopausal surgery if:

  • You experience severe vaginal bleeding that gets in the way of your normal activities on a regular basis.
  • No other treatments work in attempting to stem abnormal bleeding, or if the bleeding is resulting in anemia.
  • The bleeding is caused by something other than menopause, such as:
    • Uterine fibroids.
    • uterine prolapse.
    • Endometriosis.
    • Endometrial hyperplasia.
    • Cancers in the reproductive system, such as cervical, uterine or ovarian cancers.
